I have arrived!
This is just going to be a very short note to let everyone know that I arrived in Benin last night. Everything went well, luggage and me both made it one piece. It's humid as hell, but not as hot thankfully. I just had my language placement test and am off to get some shots. A longer post to some soon I hope.

I just can't believe you are there! It seems like a world away and almost is. You are the bravest soul I know!!:) I probably would be terrified to even leave the state, much less the country. Keep us posted! We're thinking of you!

Wow! I can't believe you're there! How exciting! I can't wait to hear more! I hope that you can take some pictures.
I asked our IT dept about your computer woes and was told that it is impossible to tell without seeing the 'puter. Could be software (perhaps a computer without the power was loaded with too recent a version of Windows?) or it could be hardware. Is it doing anything different now?
